It is characterized by its lines of trees, brooks and numerous beehives waiting to be filled with honey. In summer, the blue lavender colour is so intense that it will almost blind you. The colours are incredibly intense, the sky a fabulous blue against the golden wheat fields and stunning colour of the lavender plants. The mix, amongst the poignant smells in Provence, will leave you feeling positively light-headed. The perfume of lavender intermingles with the fragrance of spelt and wheat gorged with sun, the parched ground, and the golden everlasting flowers which persistantly push upwards on the slopes.
